Experience and Express your Bloom

Black Girl Blooms in Abundance

Plant, Water + Bloom Residency

Come explore and experience YOUR BLOOM. The Black Girl Bloom residency is a transformative and collaborative Performing arts program. With an emphasis on self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-expression this program includes impactful artistic workshops and a powerful culminating performance.

This residency can range from 2 days to 3 weeks.

Connection. Empowerment. Expression.

Black Girl Bloom Performing Arts is a movement that gives a voice to the beauty, glow, and intricacies of the black-girl-experience and the challenges black girls and women face while navigating their personal bloom.

Through film, movement, and poetry, Keomi’s Bloom Residency facilitates workshops and collaborative performances connecting the black-girl-experience to one of being a flower in full bloom — planted, exposed, unafraid, and fruitful. Each artist will choose an art form of their choice and share personal experiences of learning, accepting, and appreciating her bloom.

Through self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-expression. These Blooms will explore their personal truths, beliefs, and experiences and creatively perform their own works and stories.
