Keomi Tarver + Abundant Praise Presents:
Praise is Who I am
Friday, February 6th; 7-9pm + Sunday, February 8th; 3- 5pm
Abundant Praise is a genre-bending multidisciplinary performance that asks: How do we praise when we bring our whole selves to the altar?
Visionary artist Keomi invites you into a sacred container designed to dismantle shame and reclaim the body as a vessel of divinity. Set against a visual landscape of Afrofuture aesthetics—where Indigenous roots meet Alvin Ailey grace and the raw energy of Krump—this production reimagines the traditional church service through three distinct movements:
Traditional Praise: Rooted in the scriptural and the gospel tradition.
Spiritual Praise: An interfaith connection to the Spirit beyond religious walls.
Abundant Praise: The secular, joyous release where "Liturgical meets Twerk."
Featuring film, dance, and poetry, Abundant Praise is more than a show; it is a ministry of inclusion. It is a space for Black, queer, and abundant bodies to experience gratitude, connection, and the holy act of celebration.
All Faiths. All Identities. All Genders. ALL PEOPLE

ALL FAITHS. ALL IDENTITIES. ALL PEOPLE.
Keomi Tarver is an Artistic Holistic Healer, Choreographer, and Praise Practitioner dedicated to the power of movement as a spiritual and healing practice. Since the age of 11, she has shared Praise Dance on stages, in productions, and within communities across the country.
From a young age, Keomi recognized that her ability to embody praise through movement could deeply touch, move, and inspire those around her. Today, her work continues to center the sacred—creating abundant, intentional spaces where all people can experience divinity, healing, and connection through the body.
She is a master of fusing movement with emotion and music, curating transformative experiences that elevate self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-expression.
Keomi’s mission is rooted in worthiness and gratitude. Through her choreography, healing practices, and spiritual artistry, she invites others to see themselves more clearly and to express their gratitude for the Creator and the present moment—abundantly and artistically.
